NRSC Guest Policy

At North Raleigh Swim Club, we love welcoming guests! Our guest policy is designed to make sure everyone enjoys a safe, fun, and fair experience. Please take a moment to review the guidelines below so you and your guests can get the most out of your visit.

Members who violate this policy will be required to meet with the NRSC Board, and their membership may be subject to termination.

General Guidelines

  • Eligibility: Members may bring guests to the pool.

  • Entry: Guests must be accompanied by a member, signed in at the Guard Shack, and have guest fees paid upon entry.

  • Supervision: Members must remain with their guests for the entire visit.

  • Rules: Members are responsible for informing guests of all club, pool, diving board, and volleyball court rules.

  • Visit Limit: Each guest is limited to a maximum of five (5) visits per season, regardless of which member they accompany. After five visits, continued access requires payment of membership dues.

  • Under-18 Unlimited Guest Pass: A $100 pass available to members, granting pool access for one guest under 18 on any day. Guest may differ from day to day.

Caregivers / Babysitters

  • A caregiver or babysitter (age 16+) employed by a Member may bring the family’s dependents to NRSC when the member is unavailable due to other obligations.

  • Guest fees are waived for non-member caregivers/babysitters when the adult member is not present. Caregivers must:

    • Sign in at each visit

    • Complete a liability waiver (valid for the entire summer season)

  • Caregivers are expected to follow all rules and adequately supervise dependents. Lifeguards or Board Members may ask a caregiver to leave for misconduct or failure to supervise.

  • Multiple incident reports involving a caregiver will be reviewed by the NRSC Board, and caregiver privileges may be revoked.

  • When accompanying members are present, guest fees apply for caregivers/babysitters.

Guest Fees

  • Daily Fees:

    • $5.00 per individual guest (ages 5+)

    • $10.00 per guest family

    • Children age 4 and under: free

  • Payment:  Card payment accepted

  • Exemptions:

    • Members’ grandchildren (18 and under) are exempt from guest fees when accompanied by the member.

    • Non-swimming grandparents of member families may enter free of charge.

Terminology

  • Guest: Any non-member of NRSC

  • Guest Family: Up to two adults residing at the same address and their dependent children

  • Minor: A person under the age of 18

  • Babysitter: A non-member caregiver age 16 or older
